Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician

Overview

I am a veterinarian in Aledo, Texas with a small animal practice and am looking to add personnel to my staff.  I have been in practice 38 years and my head tech has 24 years experience.  This is an excellent opportunity in a rapidly growing community with a great clientele.  We will meet you where you are in your education and give you on the job training.  Yes, we work hard but we try to have fun and you will learn so much! And, bonus, I offer excellent pay! I have digital x-ray, ultrasound, and perform surgery & dental procedures.  I plan to expand in the near future by enlarging my office and hiring new veterinarians, so this is a great chance to grow personally & professionally.  We will work together to get a diagnosis and find a cure for each pet.  We do not euthanize a pet unless there is an incurable disease. And did I mention that I pay well!?

A strong sense of caring, responsibility, and dependability are required plus a basic knowledge of animal behavior & animal handling are required. If you have that at a minimum, we can teach you the rest.
